Prior to
Breeding the Mare Must Have a Veterinarian Certify:
Mare In Sound Breeding Condition; Clean Culture Taken
while Mare is in Heat; All Vaccinations; Current Negative Coggins Report.
The Stallion Owner will have her Veterinarian Check &
Treat the Mare for Breeding Condition or Diseases at Mare Owner’s Expense. Should the Mare Not Deliver a Live Foal in
the Year following Breeding, which can Stand & Nurse Alone & Unassisted,
the Mare Owner is Entitled to a Return to the Stallion. Upon these Conditions, satisfactory Evidence
must be Submitted to the Stallion Owner.
Further, should the Stallion Die or become Unfit for Service
prior to Servicing this Mare, the Stallion Owner will make Arrangements for the
Frozen Semen (Maximum 4 Straws) in the Year of the Contract, or the Use of an
Alternate Stallion. If the Stallion or
Contracted Mare is Sold, Dies, or becomes Unbreedable after the mare is
Serviced and No Live Foal results, the Contract may be Assigned or Transferred
with Stallion Owner’s Permission & Approval.
Mae’s Way Farm agrees to ship one time per heat
cycle. Mare owner must give notice by
phone, two days before shipment is needed.
Mae’s Way Farm assumes Responsibility only to Deliver Live Semen in
Viable Condition. At the Time of
Delivery, a Licensed Veterinarian should Administer Semen as Quickly as
Possible on Date of Receipt. The Mare must be Examined by a Veterinarian at
Forty (40) to Forty-Five (45) Days.
Notice of Pregnancy Status Must be reported to Stallion Owner
within Ten (10) Days Time or All Guarantees are NULL & VOID. Stud Fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. Contract is Good for Two (2) Consecutive
Years.
